The wait goes on for the United Strand

With the majority of the midweek Premier League matches under the rug we take a look at some of the best action from this round of matches. From Swiss international Noah Okafor rescuing a point for Leeds against Chelsea to West Ham denying Frank Illet his long-awaited haircut this was simply a matchday you could not ask anything more of. With this matchday all wrapped up there will be several talking points. Firstly with United and Chelsea both in good form recently which one of these English giants will come out on top and claim a top 4 spot. With Spurs winless in their last 8 matches how long much longer before Frank is relieved from his position of coach.
Okafor denies Blues top four spot in the premier league

With the Blues on the verge of finding their way back into the top four for the first time since Matchday 17 their two goal lead was surrendered leaving them speechless after having a strong foothold on the game. After Liam Rosenior had made immense progress with the blues it suddenly felt that they had taken a step back. Meanwhile Swiss international rescued a point for relegation threatened Leeds with the whites still managing to keep their heads above water for now at least. Leeds will now take their glimmer of hope and try to pick up some positive results in the weeks to come.
Is Spurs losing its patience with Frank

Spurs may just be at their weakest point yet as the lilywhites have failed to win a single game from their last eight. In fact to make matters worse they are five points off the relegation zone. So how exactly did Spurs get to this point? It seemed that the arrival of Thomas Frank who worked wonders at Brentford was going to get Spurs back in contention for a European place. However that has not seemed to be the case as Spurs are in the same place they were in last season. Despite the negative run of results the board have expressed immense confidence in the Danish manager believing in the whole “trust the process” ideology. Thomas Frank also reiterated to the press that he would still be in charge against Arsenal next week.
United strand haircut streak goes on

The United Strand’s haircut is going to have to wait after relegation threatened West Ham snatched a point away from United. Benjamin Sesko’s injury-time heroics were not enough to secure the three points. Frank Illett will now have to wait until March 20th when United face Bournemouth to determine whether the stand finally ends.
