De Zerbi, Dyche and Frank shown the backdoor

This week we take a look at the list of managers who have been sacked or left the club by mutual consent in recent weeks and days. Some prolific managers who were brought in by their respective clubs to change the club dynamics have been let go following a series of poor results. Some of these notable names include Thomas Frank, Sean Dyche and Roberto De Zerbi. With Nottingham and Tottenham sitting just outside the relegation zone due to their lackluster performances in recent weeks it left the board no choice but to part ways with these managers. Meanwhile after a Champions League elimination and a 5-0 humiliation to PSG, Marseille were also forced to part ways with De Zerbi.
Frank and Dyche sacked after a poor run of results

Following a dreadful run of results for Spurs, the North Londoners had decided to part ways with Thomas Frank. With eight games without a win which included four defeats, Tottenham have found themselves just five points off the relegation spot. Meanwhile Nottingham who were flying high last year in the Premier League and even secured a place in the Europa League are now in 17th place this season just three points off of safety. This saw Sean Dyche relieved from his duties with Nottingham parting ways with yet another manager for the third time this season alone. Vitor Pereira was named the new manager and will be tasked with saving Nottingham’s season.
De Zerbi set to draw a lot if attention from top clubs this summer

As for De Zerbi, a last-gasp elimination from the Champions League to Club Brugge as well as the 5-0 demolition by PSG saw Marseille seek a new managerial change. De Zerbi is a well respected manager in the football world and his status as a free agent could prompt many clubs to go after him. After his successful spell in Brighton there were many clubs who were interested in having him in their dugout. With a busy summer ahead it would be no surprise to see De Zerbi back coaching at the top level.
