Rangers and Celtic closing in on Hearts

Things are heating up in the Scottish Premier League as underdogs Hearts find themselves at the top of the table. The Gorgie Boys’ last victory in the Scottish top flight came in 1960. Only three points separate the top contenders at the summit of the league table. With the end of the season approaching Hearts will be keen on holding onto their lead at the top of the league table. However with both Rangers and Celtic closing in on them this looks set to be a battle for the ages. If you’re going to pick a winner between all three contenders the most common pick would be Celtic but one must not rule out a historical Hearts victory.
Hearts looking to defy the odds

Hearts are on the verge of making Scottish league history should they maintain their current form. However even if Hearts were to finish in first place they would still have to play against other teams placed in the top six to determine the eventual champions of the league. With Hearts at the top, rivals Celtic are closing in on them as a victory for the Scottish giants in their game in hand would put them level with Hearts at the top. Rangers are also up for title contention as they are down by two points in the league title.
