United States managed to secure a place in the Olympics in Paris for the first time since 2008 with a
comfortable 3-0 victory against Honduras while also making the final against Dominican Republic.
This will also be the 14th time the Americans would compete in the Olympics.
USA U20 had a tough rival, the home team, Honduras
The Honduras U-20 team was one of the best four teams in the Concacaf U-20 tournament and was going to be a difficult match for the United States as Honduras had won five consecutive matches.
The match took place at the Estadio Francisco Morazan, San Pedro Sula, Honduras despite the match taking place at the home of Honduras it did not stop the Americans from getting the result that they wanted.
And considering they were facing an crowd away from their home it was a difficult milestone to achieve.
