United States champions at the U20 Concacaf tournament

The United States of America made a commanding statement going into the U-20 FIFA World Cup as they thrashed the Dominican Republic 6-0 in the Concacaf U-20 championships on Sunday.

This was a big result for the United States as they added to their recent success of making it to the U-20 FIFA World Cup as well as making it to the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

They also secured their third consecutive Concacaf U-20 Championship adding to what they won in 2017 and 2018.

United States had an outstanding run of results as they demolished St Kitts & Nevis 10-0, scored 3 goals against Cuba, drew 2 goals to 2 against Canada, scored five goals against Nicaragua, scored two goals against Costa Rica, scored three goals against Honduras and six goals in the final against Dominican Republic.

They ended up scoring a resounding 31 goals in just seven games and conceding only two goals in the whole tournament.
