Blaugrana edged Los Blancos 1-0 in the El Classico at the Allegiant stadium in Las Vegas. FC Barcelona claimed their second win of the preseason. A superb effort from Raphinha from outside the boxwhich ended up in the corner was the only goal of the whole match. They added to their 6-0 win over Inter Miami when they defeated their arch-rivals Real Madrid. Barcelona did not shy away from unleashing their deadly attack despite it being a friendly.
El Clasico in detail
Lewandowski made his FC Barcelona debut alongside Raphinha and Fati. Other players who got their El Classico debuts were Christensen, Rudiger and Tchouameni. It was a game where Barcelona dominated the attack as they registered 16 shots with six on target. Whereas Real Madrid registered nine shots with zero on target. First half had both teams showing a lot of energy and the second half Madrid controlled the game more. Towards the end of the second half the match took a twist in the tail in the 42nd minute with a brawl between the players. There was tension in the match as Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr took a go at Busquets. Araujo and Rudiger also needed to be separated as they was also tension between the Uruguayuan and the new signing.
Good start to the pre-season
Despite the match being a friendly it did not stop tension from happening between the two sides as it is the most heated rivalry in the world.
