Blockbuster fixtures to be played this weekend
There is a list of exciting fixtures this coming weekend and it is guaranteed to be another goal fest. There are a list of big fixtures such as Arsenal v. Liverpool. Man City takes on Southampton at Etihad hoping to continue their unbeaten run. Another exciting fixture coming up this weekend will be when Manchester United take on the Toffees at Goodison Park. Liverpool take on highflying Arsenal
First and foremost let us look into Arsenal vs Liverpool. This is a fixture between 1st place and 9th place. Liverpool has had a miserable start to life this season and will be looking to bounce back against Arsenal. Arsenal’s team will really be tested when they face off against Liverpool. Arsenal will be confident coming out of the North London Derby victorious. However their recent record against the Reds does not really favor them. They lost four out of their last five games against Liverpool and Liverpool will be confident going into this match knowing their record against Arsenal. At the end of the day however this is football and anything can happen. Gabriel Jesus is on fire for Arsenal this season and will be hoping to add to his tally. Liverpool will need Nunez to start scoring as soon as possible to help save their season.
Will Southampton do the impossible and overcome the Cityzens
Second most exciting fixture will be Manchester City vs Southampton. Man City is just one point off from first place and will be hoping Arsenal can drop points against Liverpool. The Cityzens will be confident going into this fixture knowing they have Haaland at their disposal. The Norwegian striker scored an incredible 14 goals in 8 matches and is proving to be a goal machine. He also has proven to be the missing piece to the puzzle City was looking for. This fixture could not have come at a worse time for Southampton who are sitting in 16th place just one point from the relegation zone. If Southampton is to even get a point out of this match their attack will really need to step up and take advantage of any chances that come their way.
The Toffees to face of against Man Utd
Lastly Everton take on Manchester United on Sunday in another clash which will have many viewers. Although Manchester United is in 6th and Everton is in 11th only two points separate the two team. A defeat for Man United could see them drop out of the top ten. Man United survived a scare as they went down to Omonia but then managed to win. Although Man Utd bounced back after a shaky start to the season losing their first two games their defense is still shaky. If they are to secure Champions League football next year they are going to have to change that. The Manchester Derby was proof their defense is still a work in progress. Last time Man Utd visited Goodison Park they lost 1-0. This is a close match buy Manchester United should be able to edge this match.
