Man City edge closer to their third straight title

A win against Everton brings them closer to the title

Manchester City manage to take one step closer towards the title with a comfortable win against Everton. Whereas Arsenal may have just thrown away the title after dropping three points against Brighton. Manchester City have three more games whereas Arsenal only have two more games. If Manchester City secure this title it will be their third consecutive title and their fifth in six years. Arsenal has just a few games to make a miracle however with a few games to go it seems like a mountain to climb.

The North Londoners bottles the title

Arsenal was in a good position to finally lift their first title since the Invincibles season. However this second half of the season has proven to be too difficult for them as they dropped points in games they should not have. Arsenal may have ended their title quest when they lost against Brighton 3-0 as they fall four points behind City with two games left. Despite them being in the driving seat for most of the season it all came trembling down ever since they lost to City. This was definitely a season of improvement for them as they went from fifth to being guaranteed a UCL place next season.

A win against Chelsea and a loss for Arsenal would secure the title

City put themselves one step closer to their third title and their fifth title in six years with a win against Everton. Manchester City have a game in hand against Brighton and could go seven points clear with a win against Brighton. If they beat Chelsea they will secure the league which wont prove to be too difficult considering Chelsea’s position. City also put themselves in a great position for the treble with their position in the league. Manchester City go into their clash with Real Madrid in a great position and with lots of confidence after almost securing the title.
