Lionel Messi’s future is unclear as he will entertain many offers. The likes of FC Barcelona, Al-Hilal and many other clubs will battle it out for the signature of the best player of all time. Messi wants to spend more seasons in Europe but that may prove to be more difficult than most people think. FC Barcelona needs to get rid of a good amount of their wages in order to afford Lionel Messi. Al-Hilal seems to be the favorite to sign the little genius however nobody ever knows in football.

It would be a move that would definitely boost Saudi Arabian football as it could see other players like Kante, Modric and Firmino follow. Messi’s move to FC Barcelona is a move that the world of football would want to see. FC Barcelona’s financial problems saw Messi leave the club in 2021. He joined PSG where he endured a frustrating first season as he only scored 11 goals in all competitions. If they are to make a move happen they will have to knock off a good amount players off their wage bill. It is a move however that could bring back the idea of Messidependencia which could set the club back. It will also have Xavi having to reconsider his formation and how he plays. Messi has not been the same since leaving FC Barcelona and he himself will try to push for a move back.
