Denmark get their World Cup campaign off to a strong start

Denmark will be more than relieved to have been able to get a victory against China in the World Cup opener. Despite Denmark dominating the game they found it difficult to break through a difficult Chinese defense. The Danish will be happy to have started the World Cup on a high note. Denmark failed to qualify for the last World Cup and now they will be seeking to qualify for the next round. Denmark will now turn their attention to their games against England and Haiti. Their remaining games will be no easy task as they take on a resilient Haiti and face one of the favorites England.

China endure World Cup heartbreak in injury time

China will be kicking themselves after letting Denmark slip away with the victory. The Chinese were on the verge of ending the game 0-0 after putting an amazing defensive display in their World Cup opener. However it was not to be as Vangsgaard’s header gave Denmark the three points in opening World Cup game. China will have no choice but to pick up a minimum of four points if they are to qualify to the next round. That is more of a daunting task than it may seem as they have to face England and a defensive Haiti team. They will not only need to be defensively strong but also take their chances when they come.
