Mbappe set to snub Real Madrid this summer
Mbappe‘s transfer saga takes another twist as he apparently wants to stay at PSG Real Madrid will have one more month to make a bid for Mbappe as the Transfer Window closes on August 31st 2023. Madrid however will only be able to bid for him of he changes his mind. It remains to be seen where he will end up but it is increasingly likely that he will stay in Paris. The Frenchman makes dramatic U-turn
Mbappe saying he will stay at PSG has come as the worst news for Los Blancos. If Madrid is to bid they are expected to make a bid between €200 and €230 million for Mbappe. Los Blancos are more than capable of pulling of the deal as they are in good financial health. In fact La Liga would allow the deal as Los Blancos are 50% below their salary limit. The club have already splashed out an outstanding €128 million this summer with €103 million being spent on Bellingham. Los Blancos do not want to miss out on Mbappe as they have been linked with him for several years. They planned to go for him next summer as they wanted to get him for a free.
Mbappe to receive loyalty bonus
Mbappe has received a loyalty bonus of €60 million as he stayed after August 1st. The Frenchman has been absent from Paris Saint Germain’s tour in Japan. He remained in France and was training alone. If PSG don’t offload him this summer they will have no choice but to bench him the whole season. Various reports claim that Mbappe already has an agreement with Real Madrid which is frustrating PSG. Les Parisiens are considering filing a complaint to FIFA over this issue. There is also news saying that he could join a premier league club on loan for a season before joining Los Blancos. So far it is unlikely that the Frenchman will make a move to the Bernabeu this summer.
Could the French international be benched for longer
At one point in the summer PSG allegedly tried to offer Mbappe a 10 year contract worth €1 billion. The French Giants are desperate to keep Mbappe as they see him as the best player in Europe.
