Messi hits the bullseye yet again

Messi guides the Herons past Charlotte

Messi scores yet again as Inter Miami advance past Charlotte to reach the semi finals of the League Cup. Inter Miami got a comfortable 4-0 win over Charlotte and they will now go on to face Philadelphia Union. Inter Miami are the top scoring side in the Leagues Cup having netted 16 times in 5 appearances. Josef Martinez and Robert Taylor were also on target for Inter Miami. Futbol Mundial brings you the best moments from Inter Miami’s win over Charlotte as Messi continues to star for the Herons.

Messi continues to make a name for himself in North America

Messi seems to be settling into life in Miami pretty nicely as he has helped a team who had not won in three months win 5 consecutive matches. La Pulga netted his eighth goal in 5 matches which continued his magnificent scoring run in North America. To add on he has scored in every game since arriving in South Florida and has even formed a formidable partnership with Robert Taylor. Messi could guide Inter Miami to their first ever title since the club was founded in 2018. It would add to Messi’s incredible resume as he is already favored to win the ballondor.

Can La Pulga inspire Inter Miami past Philadelphia Union

Messi’s next big task will be against a much bigger and more dangerous opponent Philadelphia Union. Philadelphia Union were last years MLS Cup finalists and would have won had it not been for a Bale equalizer late in extra time. Despite Philadelphia Union posing a serious threat to Inter Miami anything is possible with Messi on the field. Since completing football by winning the World Cup Messi seems to be enjoying football a lot more. He will be hoping to add to his tally of eight goals and guide Inter Miami to the final. He would also be the first player to ever score in every round of the Leagues Cup if he scores in the semi final and final.
