Lamine Yamal became the youngest player to ever play for Spain as well as score for Spain in their 7-1 victory over Georgia. He managed to break the record held by Gavi who made his debut in 2021 at 16 years and 57 days. He also managed to break Gavi’s scoring record who had scored at 17 years and 10 months. Lamine Yamal managed to connect brilliantly with a pass from Athletic Bilbao player Nico Williams to round off the scoring for Spain. Spain is currently behind Scotland in the Euro qualifiers and will hope to catch up to them.

FC Barcelona will be hoping that Lamine Yamal can continue his brilliant form for them. FC Barcelona take on Real Betis on Saturday and Yamal will be hoping to gain another start and make more of an impact. has already earned three starts under Xavi and won man of the match for his amazing display against Villarreal. FC Barcelona face Antwerp on September 19th on Tuesday next week in their Champions League opener. Lamine Yamal will be hoping to become the club’s youngest ever scorer in the UEFA Champions League. The club has not advanced to the knockout stages in two seasons and Yamal is hoping to guide the club as far as possible.
