Manchester United 1 800x534 - Europe’s biggest disappointments

Paris Saint Germain have failed to live up to their expectations this season after having a productive transfer window. Les Parisiens added Ramos, Skriniar, Ugarte, Kolo Muani, Dembele and many others. The French Giants are currently third in Ligue 1 behind Monaco and OGC Nice. They have so far won four, drawn three and lost once. To make matters worse they were absolutely humbled by Newcastle 4-1 in the Champions League last week as they lost 4-1. They face a challenging group and will take on an in form Milan. Milan have only lost once this season and will be eager to register their first win in the Champions League.

Despite Chelsea bringing in a lot of new faces this transfer window as well as a new manager the situation is still unchanged. The Blues sit in 11th place in the premier league this season. They have won three games, drawn two and lost three as well in just eight games. This is beyond poor by their standards. They will be hoping that their marquee signing Nkunku can recover as quickly as possible to boost their attack. They did however win their last three games which could potentially be a change in fortune for them.

Considering Manchester United had a product football transfer window many fans would expect them to have a better season. United brought in Mount, Onana, Hojlund and Amrabat to strengthen their squad. Manchester United did have a decent end to last season by finishing fourth and winning the League Cup. However this season has been nothing short of a disaster as they have managed to lose four games so far in eight matches. They also have a mountain to climb in the champions league as they lost their first two matches.
