Tigres

By Uwe Jon Munyantwali.-MLS football is wrapping it’s season up and things are getting intense as we are reaching the latter stages of the MLS Playoffs.

FC Cincinnati take on Columbus Crew at their home tomorrow for a place in the final. Defending Champions Los Angeles FC will be aiming to keep their title as they take on Houston Dynamo for a place in the MLS final. Stay tuned as the four best teams in North American football this season face off against one another to see who will be crowned champions.

The MLS defending champions take on the U.S Open Cup champions

FC Cincinnati had themselves their best ever season as they take on Columbus Crew in the Eastern Conference finals. They will be favorites when they take on 2015 Runners Up Columbus Crew SC. FC Cincinnati came in first place out of all teams in both western and eastern conference. They remain in a good position to lift their first ever MLS Cup. FC Cincinnati fell short to Inter Miami in the U.S Open Cup semi finals. FC Cincinnati threw away a two goal lead to Inter Miami who eventually ended up winning on penalty kicks. Columbus Crew SC may be the underdogs going into this clash but should not be underestimated. They came in third in the overall table and even beat FC Cincinnati comfortably in August 3-0.

The MLS defending champions take on the U.S Open Cup champions. Los Angeles FC are the favorites in the eyes of many to take home the MLS Cup once again. Los Angeles FC had a disappointing season by their standards despite coming in 3rd place in the Western Conference. They managed to only win 14 games out of the 34 games that they played. Houston Dynamo on the other hand had their best season since 2017 where they came in 4th in the Western Conference. The Texas giants also managed to get the better of Los Angeles FC this season in June at their home. Los Angeles FC will be more fired up to get revenge against their opponents tomorrow.
