ATLANTA (May 5, 2025) – The 110th edition of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup heats up this week with the Round of 32, and CBS Sports is ramping up its coverage with a special whip-around show, The Golazo Show, to air live this Wednesday, May 7, on CBS Sports Golazo Network starting at 7:00 p.m. ET.
In this phase of the single-elimination tournament, 16 games will be played across Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Tuesday will feature five matchups, while eleven matches will take place on Wednesday. Every fixture includes at least one Major League Soccer (MLS) club entering the competition, often facing high-stakes showdowns against lower-tier squads from USL Championship, MLS NEXT Pro, and USL League One.
Where to Watch
Every game of the Round of 32 and beyond will stream live on Paramount+, making it the go-to platform for full match coverage. Additionally, three matches will be available for free on CBS Sports Golazo Network, while another three games will air on CBS Sports Network, ensuring broad accessibility across platforms.
CBS will also enhance its presence with studio programming. On Tuesday, coverage begins with CBS Sports Golazo Matchday at 9:00 p.m. ET. Wednesday’s programming includes The Golazo Show at 7:00 p.m. ET and a recap show at 10:00 p.m. ET. Hosts Nico Cantor and Aly Trost Martin will lead the coverage, joined by analysts Charlie Davies, Tony Meola, Mike Grella, and Ian Joy.

The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, established in 1914, remains the oldest ongoing national soccer competition in the U.S., welcoming both amateur and professional clubs.
