Kane leads Bayern to title
Kane finally ends his trophy curse with a first title with Bayern. The German Giants secured the Bundesliga title this weekend with a draw this weekend being enough to secure the title. This was also Bayern’s 34th title as well as their 12th title in 13 years emphasizing their dominance in the league. Kane played an instrumental part in leading Bayern to the title with his sharp attacking awareness and his finishing.
Bayern’s win attributed to formidable attack
Bayern’s attack proved to be a headache for Bundesliga teams as they scored 93 goals in 30 games. Their dangerous and fast counter attack led to their large number of goals and this was their fourth highest scoring season in ten seasons. Their ability to control the tempo of the midfield through Kimmich and Goretzka proved key in their pursuit to the title. Bayern’s midfield being able to support the attack contributed to a large number of goals scored by Kane this season. This bundesliga victory also puts their past season woes behind as they saw their Champions League hopes crumble at the hands of Inter.
English skipper struggled to win trophies at Spurs
Kane goal in coming to Bayern was to win trophies and that is exactly what he did after winning his first major trophy in his career. Kane came close to lifting silverware multiple times as he reached a Champions League final and a Carabao Cup final. He also came close to winning the premier league but narrowly missed out to Leicester City. The English skipper also missed out on silverware last season as Bayern fell short in every competition including to their rivals Leverkusen in the bundesliga. It remains to be seen what is next for Harry Kane as they are multiple rumors that he could leave Bayern in the transfer window.
