Inter Miami fall short to Minnesota
Inter Miami have continued their poor run of form with a recent defeat at the hands of Minnesota United. Momentum has not been with the Herons after they suffered their fourth loss in five games. Two of those defeats included a painful 5-1 loss on aggregate to Vancouver Whitecaps in the semi finals of the Champions Cup. Inter Miami have also dropped from 1st to 4th and they sit four points from the summit.
The Herons firepower fails to deliver
Inter Miami’s firepower attack and ability to dominate other teams has failed to get them over the line. Their defense will definitely be something they hope to fix as they have conceded 14 goals in the last five appearances. After bowing out of the Concacaf Champions Cup which they were favorites to win they will now have their eyes on the MLS Cup. They also will compete in the Lamar Hunt Cup, Leagues Cup and the Club World Cup. Although they are unlikely to win the Club World Cup they will want to go as far as possible in the competition. Progressing deep into the knockout stages will be a tough ask but will also prove how far this team has come in their seven years of existence.
