The Odds back the blues going into this game

Chelsea go into this game as favorites but by no means possible will it be an easy match for them. The Blues have displayed dangerous counter attacks often outnumbering defenders when running towards goal. This puts defenders under pressure and also forces them to make a quick decision but often times that has not gone in favor of the defenders. However it must be noted that Chelsea have a relatively young squad and a more experienced Betis squad could expose that. Chelsea also have a high line which can leave space for forwards to have a run on goal.
Betis hoping to expose Chelsea frailties

Real Betis arrive in the Conference League with a point to prove and they will be hoping to upset Chelsea the favorites. Real Betis have had a strong season which will further enhance their confidence going into the game against Chelsea. Los Verdiblancos have gone unbeaten in four of their five matches against the top three La Liga clubs Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico. Most famously from those games where they were unbeaten they clinched a famous victory over Real Madrid and held Barcelona to a draw twice. Pellegrini has created a Betis team that knows how to overload the midfield by playing a 3-2 set up in midfield. They are also known for their quick transitions from defense to attack which could certainly hurt Chelsea highline. Their ability to open up space for teammates and create goalscoring opportunities has made them a team to be feared in Europe.
