Paris Saint Germain record resounding win over Inter

Paris Saint Germain seal their first ever UEFA Champions League after their 5-0 demolition over Inter Milan. Les Parisiens have been waiting a long time to bring Europe’s most prestigious cup home and they managed to break their Champions League hoodoo in style. Paris Saint Germain also managed to record the highest ever scoring margin in a Champions League final. This brings Inter’s season to a disappointing end after being on the receiving end of a 5-0 thrashing. The Nerazzuri who were once hopeful of the treble have now bowed out of every competition.
Les Parisiens write their names in history

Paris Saint Germain’s scintillating performance saw them complete a historic treble as the French Giants were named Champions League winners for the first time. Les Parisiens looked a threatening side throughout the game and looked like scoring every time they were heading towards goal. Their midfield’s total and complete dominance left the defense and their keeper with very little to do. Their sheer dominance on the ball and quick passing drew their opposition into predictable positions therefore leaving space for the attackers to exploit. Paris Saint Germain will now be hoping to build up on this performance in two weeks when the Club World Cup starts. This will also come as a relief to Paris Saint Germain who have been targeting this trophy for a long time but kept falling short.
Inter suffocated by PSG

Inter simply stood no chance against Paris Saint Germain’s attacking football. From the start of the game Paris Saint Germain looked like they had their name on the trophy. Their insane pressure forced Inter to misjudge certain plays which forced individual errors from Inter. Inter’s midfield did not know how to cope with PSG’s midfield dictating play and as a result won the midfield battle. This goes to further show and prove that Inter lack creativity in the middle of the park which may have cost them the Serie A. Their plan to quickly move from defense to attack with Dumfries leading the charge failed to work out this time around.
