The Croatian international leaves in style

It is the end of the road for Luka Modric but what a ride it was for him. Luka Modric arrived at the club from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012 for £30 million as part of the club’s pursuit to finally clinch La Decima. However the Croatian international proved to be very ineffective that season and was even voted the worst signing of that La Liga season. He did manage to turn things around in the following year and was instrumental in Real Madrid’s La Decima winning campaign. The Croatian internationalwill hope to sign off on a high note by helping Real Madrid achieve glory in the Club World Cup. Daniel Carvajal will now take over captain duties at Real Madrid.
