Atlético de Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement for the transfer of Kang-in Lee for a reported €35 million (£30m/$40m) fee, who has signed for the Spanish club until June 30, 2031.

The South Korean midfielder, who played in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, joins Atlético de Madrid from PSG after winning back-to-back Champions Leagues with the Parisian side.

Lee began his youth career with Valencia before making his first team debut there in the 2018/19 season. After four seasons, the Korean attacker moved to Mallorca, where he played two seasons before his move to PSG. In three seasons in France, Kang-in scored 16 goals across 124 games.

There will be lots of high expectations for the Korean footballer as he succeeds Griezmann as Atletico Madrid’s new number 7. His creativity and experience will be a great addition to an Atletico side looking to compete for trophies next season.
