Vinicius Jr. and Real Madrid have agreed to a contract extension, with the Brazilian winger signing a new deal until June 30, 2032.

Since joining Madrid in 2017, Vinicius Jr. has established himself as a club legend. In eight seasons with Los Blancos, Vini Jr. has scored 128 goals in 375 matches while winning 14 titles. Most notably, Vinicius played a tremendous role in Madrid’s last two Champions League wins, scoring in both finals (Paris 2022 and London 2024).

Following major interest from Arsenal, Real Madrid met with Vinicius on Monday to discuss his future and provide a new contract package that better reflected his importance to the club.

Vini Jr. had three options to choose from this summer: renew with Real Madrid, let his contract expire, or pursue a move to the Premier League with Arsenal.

Now, with the addition of head coach Jose Mourinho, Vini Jr. will be taking the next step in his club career as Real Madrid look to find their best form once again.
