However, his relief lasted only a few hours. José Mourinho stoked the fire in front of the media by confirming that the club has opened a disciplinary investigation against him. The reason for this new internal crackdown is a recent conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol last month, an offense that cost the player a fine and the immediate suspension of his driver’s license.
