The Semi Final brought lots of individual brilliance and now it is all down to the final two teams. All four teams deserve to be at this stage due to their hard work and persistence throughout this World Cup. Nobody was backing Croatia or Morocco who knocked out Brazil & Portugal and other great teams to get to this stage.

France beats Morocco in heated game in the World Cup
France had scored early through Theo Hernandez in 5 minutes to put Les Bleus one foot into the final. Morocco had so many opportunities to score against France but did not use them. They even had more of the ball and they still failed to win. France were aiming to make their second consecutive final appearance.
Whereas Morocco wanted to continue their dream run by becoming the first African team to reach the final. However all hope was lost as France added a second through Randal Kolo Muani to secure a final place for France. France once again demonstrated that they do not have to be the better team to win matches. They will look to use this to their advantage when they face Argentina in the final.
Messi swept croatian defense
Argentina managed to sweep passed a defensively tight Croatia whose midfield were the best in the tournament. Argentina scored three time with Messi putting on a show assisting an scoring for Argentina. They now face France who they will need to defeat if they are to win their third World Cup.
Messi has so far been the player of tournament scoring five and assisting three and will hope to finally win the World Cup. Winning the World Cup for him would also settle the debate of him being the best player of all time. Argentina beating Croatia 3-0 was by far their best performance this World Cup. They managed to expose Croatia at the back and score three goals. It will be Argentina’s second final in three World Cups.
