Champions League is back!!

Champions

Champions League is back this year for the 68th edition of Europe’s elite. As the Champions League action returns we take a look at what to look forward to ahead of this season. This will be the first European competition in 20 years without Messi or Ronaldo.

Despite Europe’s elite losing some of the best players the competition has seen that should not take away from the new ones. From the teams tipped as early favorites to the best groups of the UEFA Champions League Futbol Mundial brings it all to you.

Some of the early favorites for this competition are Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. All of these teams lucked out with their groups with none of them facing a group of death. Real Madrid’s toughest opponent would be Napoli and Bayern’s would be Manchester United. However they will be heavily favored to beat those teams. This would mean that they would also be favorites to win their Champions League.

These favorites did not shy away from adding to their squads this summer making crucial signings. Some notable names added to these squads would be Kane for Bayern, Bellingham for Real Madrid and Gvardiol for City. These teams are also no strangers to winning the Champions League and would definitely fancy their chances this year.

Every year in the Champions League always happens to have a group of death and this year it is Group F. The group consists of PSG, Newcastle, Dortmund and Milan all teams that made a name for themselves last season. Despite none of them being favored to win the Champions League they always pose a serious threat to the favorites. Newcastle will be dreading their return to the competition after 20 years of absence and the draw could not have gotten worse. It will be a group that will definitely be unpredictable in terms of who comes out on top. Regardless of who wins this will be the group to watch.
