Argentina and Spain unveil the uniforms they will wear in the 2026 World Cup Final

The countdown to the 2026 World Cup Final continues, and FIFA has confirmed the uniforms that Argentina and Spain will wear for their highly anticipated match on Sunday, July 19, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The Argentine national team will once again wear its home uniform—the same one it has worn for much of the tournament: a sky-blue and white jersey, white shorts, and white socks. This combination has already been worn in several of their matches during this World Cup.

The only matches in which the Albiceleste changed their kit were the last two group-stage games, when they wore blue socks against Austria and their alternate kit against Jordan. Later, in the semifinal against England, they also wore their alternate jersey.

In all their other matches against Algeria, Cape Verde, Egypt, and Switzerland, Argentina took the field in their primary uniform—a look they will repeat in the championship match.

Furthermore, this combination of a white jersey, white shorts, and white socks brings back fond memories for the reigning world champions, as it was the kit they wore at the last World Cup during their matches against the Netherlands, Croatia, and the final against France—albeit with a different jersey design.

In goal, Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez will wear an all-green kit, just as he did for much of Qatar 2022 and in the 2021 Copa América final against Brazil and the 2024 final against Colombia.

For its part, Spain will also return to its primary uniform after wearing the alternate jersey in the semifinal, where it defeated France 2-0.

La Furia Roja will wear its traditional red jersey with blue sleeves and yellow accents. The design features a red base with thin vertical yellow lines inspired by the Spanish flag and the crest of the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It also incorporates navy blue details on the collar and sleeves, gold and burgundy accents, as well as the word “ESPAÑA” on the back of the collar, highlighting the iconic letter Ñ.

The Spanish uniform will be completed with blue shorts and socks of the same color for the final match that will determine the 2026 World Cup champion.
