Cesar Huerta returns to Mexico to sign with Pumas

Cesar Huerta is back with Pumas. After a brief stint in European soccer, the Mexican forward will once again represent the university team, though this time he’ll do so with a different responsibility: wearing the historic No. 10 jersey.

The return of the so-called prodigal son has finally been made official. Following his arrival in Mexico City, Pumas confirmed Huerta’s signing and introduced him to the media at their home, Ciudad Universitaria. The Mexican is no longer returning as the promising young player who left the club to try his luck in Europe. Now, “Chino” will face the challenge of becoming one of the university team’s key players.

The clearest sign of this new responsibility is on his jersey. Huerta will wear Pumas’ number 10, a jersey that once again places him in the spotlight for the blue-and-gold squad.

Thus, after a brief European adventure, César “Chino” Huerta returns to Universidad Nacional to once again don the Pumas colors and begin a new chapter with the club.
