EA Sports revealed the highest ratings for FC 27, with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé topping the list with a 91 rating. The French forward retains the rating he received in the previous edition, while Haaland moved up a notch with a one-point upgrade.
Behind them is a group of 90-rated players: Rodri, Ousmane Dembélé, Vitinha, Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Pedri, Lamine Yamal, Thibaut Courtois, and Jude Bellingham round out this tier of the game’s highest-rated players.
Lionel Messi also saw a significant rise. The Argentine will be 89-rated this year, a three-point upgrade from FC 26, following a standout 2026 World Cup.
In contrast, some big names suffered sharp drops. Liverpool’s season affected Virgil van Dijk’s rating, who fell from 90 to 88. The most striking case is that of Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian forward had been the highest-rated player in the previous edition, but now he has fallen out of the top 27 players in FC 27.
On the women’s side, Alexia Putellas retains the top spot with a 91 rating. The player, who recently transferred to the London City Lionesses, leads Aitana Bonmatí and Khadija “Bunny” Shaw, both 90-rated, by one point. Arsenal forward Alessia Russo was another player whose rating dropped, falling from 89 to 88.
