Liga MX Matchday 2: Where to watch all the games in Mexico and the United States

Matchday 2 of the 2026 Liga MX Apertura will have a different schedule, as action began earlier in the week due to Toluca and Cruz Azul facing off in the Campeón de Campeones tournament over the weekend.

For this second matchday, only three games will be broadcast for free on free-to-air television in Mexico, all on Azteca 7, while the rest of the matches will be available on pay-TV and streaming platforms.

The first free match was the clash between Toluca and Pumas, played on Tuesday, July 21, at 9:05 p.m. (Central Mexico Time) at Nemesio Diez Stadium.

The second match will be Atlante vs. América, a game that will mark América’s home debut at Banorte Stadium. The match will take place on Friday, July 24, at 9:00 p.m.

Rounding out the list of games airing on free-to-air television is the match between Tigres and Atlético de San Luis, scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at Estadio Universitario.
