Ferran Torres to PSG?

PSG are looking to add some extra attacking firepower to their squad, after offloading both Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos this summer. The Parisians already boast a star-studded front line, but are now on the verge of adding recent World Cup winner Ferran Torres. The Spanish forward has agreed personal terms with the European Champions, and it is now just waiting on the clubs to agree on a fee. Barcelona are not believed to be forcing Ferran to stay, making a deal likely to be struck between the two clubs.

Arsenal pushing to sign Romero ahead of Atletico Madrid?

Over the last week, it’s become apparent that Atletico Madrid have made Cristian Romero a priority signing heading into the final month of the window. The Spanish club were waiting to raise some funds for the defender through some of their outgoings, which they have now done. Club-to-club talks were underway, with a deal thought to be close. However, news broke yesterday that Arsenal were pushing to sign the Argentinian centre back. ‘The Gooners’ are willing to pay more money than Atleti to get a deal done. Romero is thought to be “very open” to the idea, his relationship with Arsenal assistant coach Gabriel Heinze being a key reason. All this being said, Tottenham are currently refusing to entertain any possibility of selling their current captain to their biggest rivals. One to keep an eye on, but it would take a miracle for the current Tottenham skipper to end up at Arsenal, come the end of the window.

Ronald Araujo to Liverpool?

Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo is set to complete a shock move to Premier League side Liverpool. The Uruguayan had been linked with a move away from the Catalan club after a difficult few years, with injury issues taking their toll. The deal will be a loan with a €55 million buy option, and Liverpool will cover the player’s full salary. ‘The Reds’ lost Ibrahima Konate at the end of his contract this summer and need a new centre-back partner for Virgil Van Dijk. Araujo brings experience and world-class quality when playing at his best. The Uruguayan is already on his way to Merseyside to complete a medical and sign his contract.

Romelu Lukaku to Fenerbahçe?

Lukaku is on the verge of signing for Turkish side Fenerbahçe. The Napoli striker struggled with injury last season and is in need of a fresh start. Personal terms have already been agreed, but a deal needs to be reached between the two clubs. Fenerbahçe’s first offer of €6 million was promptly rejected by Napoli, but the Turkish side are expected to come back soon with a new proposal.

Roony Bardghji on his way out of Barca?

Talented young Swedish winger, Roony Bardghji, is set to leave Barcelona in search of more game time. Bardghji is highly rated by the Catalan side, and they don’t want to lose future control of the player, but a loan or even a permanent move for the youngster is seen as the best decision for both parties. Any permanent move away for the winger will most likely include either a large sell-on clause or a buy-back option. There have yet to be any concrete links between Bardghji and a new potential club, but there is expected to be a lot of interest from around Europe’s top five leagues in the coming weeks.
