Colo-Colo’s verbal agreement with Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha has come under question over the last few days.
Despite officially announcing the signing through their social channels, the Cape Verde goalkeeper did not board his flight to Santiago to finalize his move to South America. Moroccan club Renaissance Sportive Berkane, who recently appointed former Cape Verde national team manager Bubista, are said to have made a lucrative offer to the 40-year-old goalkeeper.
Despite the speculation and rumors of the deal collapsing, Fabrizio Romano announced that Vozinha was on his way to Chile to complete the Colo-Colo move. This is a deal the Chilean side views as vital to their season and will be looking to complete it sooner rather than later.
Vozinha has previously played club football in Cape Verde, Angola, Moldova, Cyprus, Slovakia, and Portugal.
