Inter fails to capitalize on Napoli’s draw
Inter Milan and Napoli battle for the scudetto goes on and is set to be determined on the final day of the Serie A. Matchday 37 proved to be filled with action packed intense moments that could play a part in deciding the outcome of the race. During the matchday momentum had swung both ways but at the end of the day it was the Gli Azzuri who came out on top. Napoli will have Pedro to thank who slotted home a penalty with four minutes of normal time to go to secure a point for Lazio. Regardless of who wins it this Serie A finale could prove to be one of the most exciting title races there has been in the history of the league.
Napoli hoping to hold off Cagliari to claim the Scudetto
Napoli are ninety minutes away from securing their second title in three seasons but this time it will go right to the wire. If Napoli were to win this title it would be won in a more dramatic fashion than last time around in 2023. Gli Azzurri had seemed down and out with Inter being ahead for most of the season. However a run of bad games for Inter saw Napoli reclaim 1st. Napoli will be confident that they can beat Inter to the scudetto with 14th place Cagliari being their final opponent. After a disastrous season where they came in 10th they have now managed to restore the club to where it belongs.
The Nerazzuri will rely on help from lady luck
Inter’s poor run of games in April where they lost to Roma and Bologna may just come back to bite them at the end of the season. Inter will be praying for a miracle that Cagliari can do them a favor and prevent Napoli from getting the three points. What is even a scarier prospect for Inter is that they could end up walking away with nothing by the end of the season. The Nerazzuri also have their eyes set on Munich where they will battle it out with PSG with the aim of winning their first Champions League in 15 years.
