Hull City has reached an agreement to sign 18-year-old Australian international defender Lucas Herrington from MLS side Colorado Rapids.
The newly promoted Premier League side has agreed to pay a $17 million (£12.6m) fee, with a further $6m (£4.4m) in add-ons. Colorado will also retain a 15% sell-on clause. Herrington recently became the youngest player in MLS history to play in the World Cup after starting for Australia against Paraguay in the group stage.
With this reported initial fee, Herrington is set to become the 8th highest departure from the MLS. Below are the most expensive MLS departures:
