Vinícius Júnior’s future at Real Madrid is once again the focus of attention. The club presented a new contract extension offer to the Brazilian forward after the World Cup, reigniting negotiations that had been stalled for nearly a year.

According to available information, the player’s financial demands are around 30 million euros per season, so there remains a significant gap between the two sides’ positions. The duration of the contract extension offered by Real Madrid has not been disclosed either.
Currently, Vinícius earns around 17.5 million euros per year, and his contract expires in June 2027. If a renewal is not finalized, the forward would have the option to leave on a free transfer at the end of next season and could even negotiate a pre-contract with another club starting in January.
Those close to the Brazilian international believe the club should recognize the impact he has had since he arrived in 2018, a period during which he established himself as one of the team’s key players and scored goals in two UEFA Champions League finals. Amid speculation about his future and interest from Premier League champions Arsenal, Real Madrid is seeking to move forward with talks to ensure the retention of one of its top stars.
Meanwhile, Vinícius returned to training on Monday following his post-World Cup vacation. The Brazilian passed his medical exams and trained alongside his teammates under new head coach José Mourinho.
