After two seasons without major trophies, Real Madrid know this season needs to be different.
With three managers in the last two seasons, Los Blancos have failed to play at their standard since the arrival of Kylian Mbappe in 2024. Now, with the arrival of Jose Mourinho and a clear plan to spend this summer, there is no doubt that Madrid will be looking to erase the disappointments of the last 24 months.
Summer Arrivals
Real Madrid have prioritised strengthening multiple areas of the pitch, with a combination of veteran experience and youth talent.
So far this summer, Real Madrid have signed five players for a combined €95 million.

- Denzel Dumfries (from Inter Milan): €20m
On top of these deals, Real Madrid are also rumored to be advancing in negotiations for Yan Diomande from Red Bull Leipzig and Rodri from Manchester City. A deal for Diomande is expected to cost upwards of €100 million, with a deal for Rodri expected to cost anywhere between €50 million and €75 million.
Generated Revenue from Departures
Real Madrid have been able to generate great money from their academy in recent years. While many don’t break into the first team, Castilla has produced some great talent across world football.
This summer, Real Madrid has generated close to €160 million from departures through direct sales and sell-on clauses.
