Estadio del Espanyol de Barcelona esta a otro nivel

Modern football stadiums are no longer venues that open their doors just a couple of times a month. Today, the viability and growth of elite clubs depend on making the most of their infrastructure 365 days a year. In line with this cutting-edge approach, RCD Espanyol has taken a crucial strategic step by unveiling a new visual identity and an exclusive digital platform for the RCDE Stadium, establishing it as a hub for business, culture, and entertainment.

The blue-and-white stadium, already renowned for its modernity, seeks to enhance its focus on corporate and social settings, demonstrating that its ability to generate opportunities extends far beyond the 90 minutes of a soccer match.

A Business Model Beyond “Matchday”

The evolution of the RCDE Stadium responds to an increasingly relevant reality in today’s sports management model: the activation of the stadium as a continuous economic driver. In recent years, the club has significantly increased the number of events held on non-matchdays.

To support this growth and give the stadium its own identity within the Espanyol ecosystem, the board has opted for a rebranding that positions it independently yet complementarily to the club.

The Stadium’s New Look: Symbol, Light, and Color

The cornerstone of this transformation is the launch of the RCDE Stadium’s new logo. Far from attempting an exact architectural replica, the design offers an essential and modern take that synthesizes the venue’s most iconic elements:

  • Structure and rhythm: The lines of the new logo evoke the stadium’s enveloping structure, reflecting repetition, dynamism, and the ceaseless activity that takes place within it.
  • A Luminous Tribute: The design pays direct homage to the characteristic vertical LEDs on its façade, one of the venue’s most recognizable features on Barcelona nights.
  • Corporate identity: The color scheme is based on RCD Espanyol’s traditional colors, projecting them outward to maintain a strong sense of belonging.

Through this graphic simplification, the club has succeeded in creating its own visual language that organizes and articulates the stadium’s commercial narrative.

A Digital Showcase for the Business World

To capitalize on this new identity, RCD Espanyol has simultaneously launched the new RCDE Stadium website. This digital space is specifically designed as a B2B (business-to-business) meeting place.

From this new platform, companies, production firms, and organizations can explore in detail:

  • The stadium’s technical and logistical features.
  • The various possibilities for using its VIP lounges, esplanades, and interior areas.
  • Specific opportunities for developing business projects, film shoots, concerts, and conventions.

With this dual launch—both visual and digital—RCD Espanyol reaffirms its revenue diversification strategy. The RCDE Stadium is establishing itself not only as the pride of the Espanyol fanbase but also as a key strategic asset, strengthening its ties to the city and opening its doors to the global market for major events.
