Mexico will have a strong musical presence
One of the most striking aspects of the project is the significant Mexican representation on the album.
Artists such as Carín León, Natanael Cano, Alejandro Fernández, Belinda, and Los Ángeles Azules will be part of the official production, reflecting the cultural significance Mexico will have as one of the tournament’s host countries.
The songs will be played during the World Cup
FIFA confirmed that several of the songs will be performed live during the Countdown Concert and at the opening ceremonies to be held in Mexico, Canada, and the United States. Additionally, new collaborations and special content related to the album may be announced during the tournament.
With this production, FIFA aims to make music as central a part of the 2026 summer as soccer itself, creating a global experience that blends sports, culture, and entertainment in an edition poised to shatter all records for viewership and attendance.
With one week to go before the opening match, the official album is already shaping the soundtrack that will accompany millions of fans at a World Cup that aims to be the biggest and most diverse of all time.
