Carlos Armando Torres Bujanda Oct 30, 2026 3 min read

Matchday 15 of the 2026 Liga MX Apertura is about to begin, and with only three matchdays left to play, every point is worth its weight in gold in the fight to make the playoffs. The standings continue to tighten in this final stretch of the tournament, and the round kicks off with a tripleheader on Friday.

On Friday, October 30, Atlético de San Luis hosts Atlas at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time at Estadio Alfonso Lastras, live on ESPN, Disney+, and ViX. Key stat to watch: Atlético has three straight wins over Atlas in San Luis; the Rojinegros have won there only once, 6-2 in the 2021 Apertura.

At the same time, Juárez hosts Querétaro at the Benito Juárez Olympic Stadium, on Canal 7, FOX One, and FOX+. Querétaro has three straight wins over the Bravos in Ciudad Juárez. In the last 10 matches between the two teams, only one ended in a 0-0 draw: Querétaro scored first in seven and FC Juárez in two, and there were no comebacks.

Puebla and Pumas will close out Friday night at 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time at the Cuauhtémoc Stadium, on Channel 7, ESPN, and Disney+. Pumas has gone six straight games without a loss against Puebla, with five wins and one draw; the last time the Camoteros prevailed was in the 2023 Clausura, 4-2 at Ciudad Universitaria.

On Saturday, October 31, Pachuca hosts Tigres at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time at Estadio Hidalgo, on FOX One and FOX+. Pachuca has four wins in the 2026 Apertura, but none of them came at home, and the only short tournament in which they failed to win at home was the 2002 Apertura. Tigres, for its part, has not won on the road in this tournament; the last time it failed to win on the road in a completed tournament was the 2009 Clausura.

At 9:05 p.m. Eastern Time, Monterrey hosts Tijuana at BBVA Stadium, on FOX One and FOX+. The Xolos are on a five-game unbeaten streak against Monterrey, though four of those matches ended in draws. The last time these teams tied 0-0 was in January 2018; since then, they have faced each other 17 times.

At 9:07 p.m. Eastern Time, Chivas hosts Atlante at Akron Stadium, on Prime Video. The last time these teams faced off was in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Copa MX Apertura: they tied 1-1 at Akron, and Atlante eliminated Chivas in a penalty shootout.

Saturday wraps up with América taking on Toluca at 11:10 p.m. Eastern Time at Banorte Stadium, airing on Canal 5, TUDN, and ViX. América and Toluca have faced each other 171 times in Liga MX: the Águilas have won 66 matches, compared to 54 wins for the Diablos and 51 draws. In their last 10 Liga MX matches against each other, only one ended in a 0-0 draw.

On Sunday, November 1, Santos hosts Necaxa at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time at TSM Corona Stadium, on ViX. Santos and Necaxa haven’t drawn at the TSM since February 2017, when that match ended 2-2; since then, they’ve faced off there nine times, with the home team winning five.

At the same time, Cruz Azul hosts León at Estadio Olímpico Universitario, on Canal 5, TUDN, and ViX. Cruz Azul has eight wins in the 2026 Apertura, while in the five previous tournaments it won at least nine games. León has lost only one of its last seven matches: it won three and tied three.
