Hyundai Motor Company and the FIFA Museum officially launched the “Legacies of Champions” fan experience at Rockefeller Center on Monday, welcoming FIFA executives, football legends, and invited media guests ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
The opening ceremony included FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Hyundai Motor Company Chief Marketing Officer Sungwon Jee, FIFA Museum Managing Director Marco Fazzone, and FIFA Legends Marco Materazzi, Christian Vieri, Roberto Baggio, and George Weah.
Beginning on Thursday, June 11, the exhibition will be free to the public until July 19. Located at Rockefeller Center, the experience will offer fans a chance to explore nearly a century of FIFA World Cup history.
Highlights of the exhibition include original historic objects linked to football icons such as Pelé, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi. Visitors can also see an installation showcasing jerseys from all 48 nations in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, along with the historic Jules Rimet Trophy, awarded to World Cup champions from 1930 to 1970.

Additional attractions include “THE FINAL,” a cinematic installation designed to recreate the drama and emotion of football’s biggest stage, and the “Wall of Champions,” which honors every player to have lifted the FIFA World Cup Trophy.
The exhibition serves as both a celebration of football’s past and an invitation for all fans to engage with the stories, moments, and players that have shaped the world’s most prestigious sporting event as the FIFA World Cup returns to North America in 2026.
