The second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League finished today, with 14 teams advancing to the next phase. The qualifying phases began in early July, with the path being set for a final play-off round in mid to late August to determine the final seven teams entering the league phase.

The first legs of the third qualifying round will be played on 4 and 5 August, with the second legs played on 11 August 2026. A total of 20 teams will face off, with the ten winners advancing to the play-off round. The losers of the Champions Path will be transferred to the Europa League play-off round, and the losers of the League Path will be transferred to the Europa League league phase.

From here, 10 teams will advance to the play-off round, joining Celtic, AEK Athens, LASK, and Viking. 5 teams advance from the Champions Path and 2 teams advance from the League Path. These matches will be played on 18–19 August 2026 and 25–26 August 2026.
Following the conclusion of the qualification process, the League phase draw will take place on 27 August 2026.
