All 30 MLS teams in action today: Robert Lewandowski and Antoine Griezmann set to make their debuts, and will Lionel Messi play?

After a partial return last week, the MLS resumes today, July 22, with all 30 teams in action. With a full 15-game slate, it marks the first of two matchdays in just four days, with all teams set to play again on Saturday.

The most anticipated matchup of Wednesday will be an Eastern Conference powerhouse matchup between Chicago Fire and Inter Miami. After a postponement last week due to air quality concerns from the Canadian wildfires, Robert Lewandowski is now set to make his MLS debut with the Fire today vs. a competitive Miami side. However, Inter Miami will be without both Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul, who are set to take a 21-day rest period following their run to the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.

Eastern Conference leaders Nashville are set to host Montreal at GEODIS Park. Nashville have won their last four home meetings against Montreal by a combined score of 11-2.

Western Conference leaders Vancouver head on the road to face FC Cincinnati at TQL Stadium. As two of the highest-scoring teams in the MLS, it is safe to expect plenty of goals as Vancouver looks to maintain their spot at the top of the West.

San Jose, who also sit at 32 points alongside Vancouver, host an Orlando side that has struggled at the back. San Jose have just won 1 of their 4 home meetings with Orlando at PayPal Park and have failed to keep a clean sheet in 10 consecutive matches. With Antoine Griezmann set to make his MLS debut, Orlando will look to capitalize on this moment. However, they have struggled on the road — conceding 35 goals in their last nine regular season matches on the road.
